North City Farmers’ Market - Opening Day TOMORROW, Sat., June 2

Can it really be that time already?  Although it doesn’t feel like it should be June already, the 6th season of the North City Farmers’ Market is indeed celebrating its opening day tomorrow, Saturday, June 2, at 9 a.m.

As usual, the market offers a great opportunity to pick up some fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruits, and herbs (and some of it grown very locally by dedicated and industrious Old North residents in the 13th Street Community Garden), in addition to a variety of crafts and other unique products.   Of course the market also is a fantastic opportunity to meet some of the wonderful people who call Old North home and catch up with some old friends.

In addition to live music in the form of St. Louis Caledonian Pipe Band (starting at 10 a.m.),  there will be children’s activities, and all who stop by the info booth to fill out a brief survey will be entered into a raffle for free passes to the City Museum.
