Join us Mon., Feb. 7 for Re-Scheduled Annual Meeting & Pot-Luck Supper

We won’t let a little bit of snow get in the way of a great celebration, so please join us on Monday evening for the Old North St. Louis Restoration Group’s Annual Meeting and Pot-Luck Supper at 2624 N. 14th Street.

In addition to highlighting the many achievements of 2010 and a preview of plan for the rest of 2011, ONSLRG members will elect board members for the 2011-’13 positions.  The nominations committee has proposed the following individuals for these positions:

Kelly Owens - Born & raised in this neighborhood, Kelly is raising her own family in Old North, and is a new homeowner on the 1900 block of Hebert St.  Kelly is the daughter of former long-term board member, Johnnie Owens.  She is a graduate of the UMSL Neighborhood Leadership Academy and is employed by the St Louis Public Schools.

Sean Lowery - During his time in the neighborhood as a renter on the 1400 block of Sullivan, Sean hasbeen actively attending community meetings and events such as cleanup days and the Farmer’s Market. He also has worked hard to promote community by being visible within the neighborhood and getting to know as many as his neighbors as he can, through gardening, regularly walking his dog Jake, and chatting with anyone he  meets.  Among his goals are to see the community grow closer together, for the continued growth of new endeavors in the neighborhood such as the co-op and 14th street mall.

Dave Eisenbraun - Current ONSLRG Board member; member of the Finance and Real Estate Committees; regular participant in the “Macho Action Group”; past president of ONSLRG; 33-year resident of ONSL at 1409 Sullivan; Senior Engineering Specialist, Nidec Motor Corporation.

Graham Lane - Resident of 1300 block of North Market, renovating formerly vacant building for personal residence and sculpture studio; sculptor. Current ONSLRG Board Member, Board Secretary, member of the Real Estate Committee, regular participant / coordinator of “Macho Action Group” initiatives, Planning Committee member for the Old North Grocery Co-op, and reliable volunteer for countless neighborhood projects.
