Fourteenth Street is OPEN for Driving and Parking

As of this past weekend, you are free to drive up and down the 2600 and 2700 blocks of North 14th Street in Old North St. Louis.  While the actual opening to traffic may feel a bit anticlimactic after the big celebration on July 29th, the cars on the street provide yet another piece of evidence that 14th Street is a real street once again.

Come on by to take a look and drive down the street.  Feel free to park on the street or in the spacious, off-street parking lot behind the buildings along the east side of the street - and then enjoy a nice, leisurely walk along the two blocks to admire the award-winning, historically rehabbed and architecturally significant buildings that line the 2600 and 2700 blocks.
