Summer in Old North

Todays post is the first in what will be a several times a week series. I, your “fearless and determined” intern Matt, will be posting pictures to the blog of different scenes from throughout Old north. My goal is to make a post four times a week, and a wide range of activities, places, and people will make up the subjects of the photos.

First up is one of the most common scenes in Old North St. Louis on a nice day.

Hi i used to live at 1408 sullivan the Dinsmore and I really like your blog. It’s really interesting to see the old neighborhood and how much has changed. Can you tell me if you have any pic’s of Sullivan and of my home in particular if any renovation has been done. I’d be interested to know. Jodie Dinsmore Grace

Welcome to the Old North St. Louis Restoration Group's blog. What's New in Old North chronicles the dramatic transformation under way in the neighborhood of Old North St. Louis. As a neighborhood just north of Downtown St. Louis, Old North is becoming a dynamic urban village of new and historic homes, a landmark eating establishment, beautiful community gardens, and a diverse, friendly, and engaged community.
