Filling in the Gaps
What was once a vacant lot between two vacant buildings on the 1300 block of North Market has become two owner-occupied townhomes between a historically rehabbed apartment building and a historic home that will be rehabbed in the not-too-distant future. The new homes are part of the North Market Place development (www.northmarketplace.com).

Despite triple digit temperatures, residents of Old North St. Louis couldn’t resist the chance to celebrate community with their neighbors at the annual National Night Out party. Residents flocked to Wingmann Park and Wright Street Tuesday evening to share laughs, participate in art activities coordinated by the Urban Studio, converse with the friendly officers from the 4th & 5th police districts, and play in the water.
